Untitled (For Felix), 2007
Nutrition Bar Wrappers
This is a pile of nutrition bar wrappers that I’m collecting/creating as a conceptual art piece, as I consume them training for ALC 6. I’m riding partially in memory of one of my favorite artists, Felix Gonzalez Torres who died of Aids in 1996. FGT is well known for his sculptural piles. This piece is dedicated to him, and will grow until I complete the ride.
State of the Pile
5 March 2007
38 bars = 7410 calories
Miles Ridden Since Training Started Jan. 15 2007 = 445.5
445.5 miles = 13365 calories at avg. 30 cals / mile.

What did you do with your 10 cents?
JH says:
“Last week while on a walk in NE I found a dimebag. I put the 10 pennies in a 2 gallon jug that I have been using to collect pennies for the last few years. I plan on cashing these pennies in and using them on my trip to NYC next month. Thanks!”
